1. Who we are
DueDith ("DueDith", "we", "us") is a personal bill and payday planner available at duedith.com and, in the future, as mobile apps. If you have questions about this policy or your data, email us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information you enter
- Planning data: bill names and amounts, due dates, notes, payout and business income amounts, pay schedule, savings goals, debts (balances, payments, interest rates) and which items you've marked as paid.
- Preferences: currency, color theme and sort order.
Please don't put sensitive details like full card numbers, account passwords or government ID numbers in notes. DueDith doesn't need them.
If you create an account
- Email address and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed (scrambled) form by our sign-in provider; we can't see them.
- Sync information: a copy of your planning data, the time it was last saved and the general type of device that saved it (for example "Android" or "iPhone").
Collected automatically
- Our hosting and database providers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request) for security and to keep the service running.
- We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party ad networks.
3. Where your data is stored
- Without an account: your data stays on your device, in your browser's local storage. It isn't sent to us.
- With an account: your data is stored on your device and synced to our database so it's available on your other devices and backed up.
4. How we use your information
- To run DueDith: show your bills, totals, goals and debts, and sync them between your devices.
- To create and secure your account, including sign-up confirmation and password reset emails.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse and fix problems.
We don't use your financial entries for advertising, and we don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
5. Service providers we use
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run DueDith. They process data only on our behalf:
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Account sign-in and the database that stores synced data (United States) |
| Cloudflare | Hosting the DueDith website and app files, and domain services |
| Resend | Sending account emails (confirmation and password reset) |
| jsDelivr | Delivering a standard software library the app uses |
| Google Fonts | Delivering the font the app displays (Google receives your IP address when the font loads) |
If DueDith is offered in app stores, Apple and Google will handle any purchases under their own privacy policies. We receive only what's needed to confirm a subscription, not your payment card details.
6. International transfers
Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries. When you use DueDith from the Philippines or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to those countries, and we take reasonable steps to keep it protected as described in this policy.
7. How long we keep data
- Account and synced data are kept while your account exists.
- When you delete your account, your account and synced data are deleted from our database. Backups held by our providers are removed on their normal schedule.
- Data saved only on your device stays there until you erase it or clear your browser data.
8. Your choices and rights
- See and export your data: Settings → Back up data, or Export to spreadsheet.
- Correct it: edit any entry directly in the app.
- Delete it: Settings → Erase all data, or Settings → Delete account to remove your account and cloud data.
- Sign out at any time and choose whether to keep data on your device.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including those under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and US state privacy laws, such as the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. You may also contact the National Privacy Commission (Philippines) or your local authority.
9. Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and database rules that let each account read and change only its own data. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your devices locked.
10. Children
DueDith is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DueDith grows. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
